More About Me

I am a descendant of French and German ancestors. I've been working in the field of education for over 37 years. My home is located in west-central Minnesota, USA. I'm married to a very creative woman, Melissa. We have three children. I also have three children from a previous marriage, and two grandchildren. I enjoy my family, fishing, sports, and my job as superintendent/principal of Roslyn School. I'm also interested in genealogy.

I go fishing with my family in our 1984 Larsen, powered by an Evenrude 75 hp outboard. I like catching fish but I don't like cleaning them!

I enjoy all sports, especially track & field and cross-country. My favorite football team is the Minnesota Vikings because I'm from Minnesota. In baseball I cheer for the Minnesota Twins because they develop their own talent instead of trying to buy a pennant.

I also do some family history, and have recorded a few generations of my family tree. Genealogy surnames include Birkholz, Goter, Mabie, and Clark.
